Maksim Takhtarov is a trial attorney with extensive experience litigating cases in Philadelphia, the surrounding counties, and throughout the state of New Jersey. He focuses his practice on representing clients that have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, trip and fall/slip and fall, product liability, and other negligence matters. As a fluent Russian speaker, Mr. Takhtarov also offers his services to Russian‑speaking clients.
Mr. Takhtarov is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, The Eastern District Court of Pennsylvania, and the state of New Jersey. As a member of an immigrant family, Mr. Takhtarov has deep roots in the Philadelphia community. He moved to Northeast Philadelphia in 1991, growing up across the street from George Washington High School, and currently lives in Bucks County. Mr. Takhtarov is a graduate of Temple University’s Fox School of Business (B.S. degree, 2011), where he specialized in legal studies. Thereafter, Mr. Takhtarov attended Widener University School of Law (J.D. degree, 2014), where he was a member of the prestigious Civil Law Clinic. There he worked with Delaware Volunteer Legal Services to provide assistance and representation to victims of domestic violence in the State of Delaware and was awarded the Pro Bono distinction for his services to the community.
In recognition of his ongoing dedication to his clients and the practice of law, Mr. Takhtarov was named by Super Lawyers as a rising star for the years 2020, 2021, and 2022, which recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of the best up‑and‑coming attorneys in the state of Pennsylvania who are 40 years or younger or who have been practicing less than 10 years. Mr. Takhtarov also sits as an Arbitrator for the City of Philadelphia’s Compulsory Arbitration Program.
