Joe Lavin is a native Philadelphian raised in a blue-collar family. Growing up, his father worked the night shift at a printing press and his mother is a nurse. He attended the Pennsylvania State University and Hofstra University School of Law. After becoming an attorney in 2011, Joe started his legal career in plaintiff personal injury litigation at a high-volume, and well respected, mid-sized firm in Philadelphia.
After several years of representing individuals injured as the result of wrongdoing by others, Joe began to work directly for the insurance company. Joe worked as a Trial Attorney for a well-known, national insurance company in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania for over eight (8) years where he successfully brought many cases to verdict. Before coming to Kwartler Manus, LLC, Joe also gained experience at a general defense firm where he refined his litigation skills by working for a very large retail box store in local, state and federal jurisdictions. Joe Lavin’s primary experience is in dealing with motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, and dram shop cases.
Joe is now working with the team at Kwartler Manus, LLC to fight the good fight on behalf of injured victims throughout the Philadelphia region. He is dedicated to making sure that people who are injured at the hands of another receive fair, reasonable and adequate compensation for the wrong they suffered. Joe is passionate about working with his clients and will battle the insurance companies on your behalf.
Joe is currently the co-chair of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee of the Bucks County Bar Association.
In his spare time, Joe enjoys hiking with his dog, spending time with his family, attending live sports and concert events, working out and playing basketball.
