Woman Dies: Details About the Fatal AC Expressway Accident

According to the New Jersey State Police, units were dispatched around 10:30 PM Saturday, June 15th to a section of the Expressway in Winslow Township for the report of an accident. The accident occurred on the westbound side of the highway in the area of mile marker 38.3.

Police said that a Nissan SUV was traveling in the westbound lanes when it sideswiped a disabled vehicle in the right shoulder. The SUV flipped, ejecting the driver. The ejected driver of the SUV died of their injuries. The victim was identified as a 37-year-old woman from Camden.

Police said that the disabled vehicle, a Honda, was unoccupied at the time of the crash. No further details are available as the accident remains under investigation.
