West Rockhill Township Crash Injures Multiple People

Pennsylvania State Police reported an accident in West Rockhill Township, Bucks County, that involved two vehicles, resulting in injuries. Initial reports indicated that a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee driver failed to maintain control over their vehicle as they drove south down Route 309. As a result, the Jeep driver struck a 2018 International Truck, which was also headed south.

Losing control over a vehicle can happen for various reasons. The driver may have been distracted, fatigued, or impaired. In some situations, the vehicle itself may have suffered a malfunction. A medical emergency may have led to the incident. In any car accident in which another driver caused the injuries and losses to another, hiring a local car accident lawyer could be critical to finding out exactly what took place.

Driver Wreck Could Be Due to Weather Conditions

In this particular accident, police reported the Jeep driver struck the truck, spun, and then crashed into a barrier along the side of the road. It had significant damage to the front end. There was notable damage to the rear of the driver’s side tire on the truck as well. Law enforcement noted that the accident occurred during a freezing rain event, and it was dark outside, which may have contributed to this incident. The driver was taken to the hospital, while the truck operator did not suffer injuries. PennDOT was called to the scene to salt the roads
