Vehicle Crashes into North Philadelphia Home Thursday

A car crashed into a home in North Philadelphia on a Thursday evening just before midnight, according to police. The car struck the home at the 6200 block of Broad Street after what police believe was a hard left turn.

The 32-year-old woman driver is said to have made the turn and then accelerated, which caused the car to lunge forward and struck a raised porch of the home. The woman died, and two passengers were hurt. The car, a 2008 Nissan, was driving southbound on Broad Street at the time of the accident.

Reckless driving, speeding, intoxication, and fatigue are just some of the most common causes of car accidents like this. Drivers may also overcorrect or try to miss an animal. While an investigation continues, victims in such a case need to seek legal support from a Philadelphia car accident attorney who is representing them.

Details of the case showed that there were two passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident. A 34-year-old man and a 3-year-old child. Both were taken to the hospital. There was no initial word on the condition of those passengers at the initial news release.
