The New Jersey State Police, fire personnel, and NJDOT were all dispatched around 11:40 AM on Monday, June 24th, for the report of a multi-vehicle accident. Emergency personnel who arrived on scene first discovered three vehicles damaged on Route 206.
The crash occurred just north of the Red Lion Circle (Route 70) on 206. Emergency personnel did not treat anyone for injuries on the scene and no one was transported to the hospital. Authorities said that a pickup truck hit a passenger car from behind, sending the passenger car into the vehicle in front of it.
All lanes of Route 206 had to be temporarily closed for a brief time due to the extent of the damage and number of vehicles involved. The State Police requested local fire police from surrounding fire departments to assist with traffic control.
