The Atlantic City Police Department is currently investigating a crash involving two of its cruisers and a third vehicle. The incident occurred on Thursday, June 20th shortly before 6 PM at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and Pacific Avenue.

Both police vehicles were marked, and according to reports, both were responding to the report of a robbery at the time of the crash. One of the police cruisers hit a traffic control device after the collision. The traffic control device fell and struck a third vehicle that was not involved in the initial crash.

Both officers were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of injuries that were not deemed to be life-threatening. The occupants of the third vehicle were not injured. The robbery suspect was not apprehended.
