Pedestrian Killed in Harrison Township Accident

The Harrison Township Police Department was dispatched to a South Jersey location with reports that a pedestrian was struck by a car. According to news reports, a box truck operated by a 20-year-old male from Delaware was traveling westbound on Mullica Hill Road at 12 a.m. when it hit a 67-year-old man walking along the shoulder near the Route 55 overpass on Mullica Hill Road.

The man was transported to the Inspira Medical Center but died of his injuries. The man was identified as a resident of Tampa, Florida, though no insight into why he was in South Jersey was offered initially.
