Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Absecon Boulevard

Just before 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, a pedestrian was struck by a car and tragically died of their injuries. The accident occurred on Absecon Boulevard in New Jersey.

Pedestrian Killed in Accident with Vehicle

Early information from the Absecon Police Department indicates that a driver on US Route 30 struck a pedestrian just to the west of the Delilah Road overpass. The driver remained on the scene of the accident. The authorities have not provided specific information about how the pedestrian was hit nor where the pedestrian was on the roadway. However, the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident. Police continue to investigate and have called for witnesses to come forward to provide more information.
