Rush hour traffic is being snarled due to a PA Turnpike crash on Tuesday, February 27, involving a crane truck. There is no word yet from authorities as to any injuries or how long the traffic delay will last. Talk to a Bucks County car accident attorney after an injury in a crash.

Details of the PA Turnpike Crash

According to authorities, the crash on the PA Turnpike occurred near Exit 351 in Bensalem and was blocking the right lane of travel around 5 PM. The westbound exit ramp at Exit 351 is also closed due to the crash as crews work to clear the scene.

Images from the crash show a vehicle that smashed into the rear of the crane truck in the right lane of the highway. The vehicle was heavily damaged and looks as if the vehicle was pinned under a rear tire of the truck. Emergency crews are still on scene around the vehicle and the crane truck.

If you have a loved one coming home from work using the PA Turnpike, be sure to let them know about the crash as it might take them much longer than usual. Traffic delays are miles long at this point and do not appear to be breaking up anytime soon.
