Emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of Route 30 and Route 73 in Waterford Township, Camden County, early Tuesday morning for the report of an overturned truck that spilled its load of sand and fuel.

The exact location was the White Horse Pike westbound ramp to Route 73 South. The spill of both sand and fuel led to a hazmat response. The driver of the truck was trapped inside and had to be extricated by firefighters upon their arrival. There is no word yet on the condition of the driver. Images from Chopper 6 show only a truck involved and no other vehicles.

The ramp was closed for the morning rush, causing significant delays in the area for both Route 30 and Route 73 as personnel worked to clear the area.
