A North Front Street crash killed a child and injured two other people on Saturday, July 20th, according to news reports and the Philadelphia Police Department. According to the police, the accident occurred at the intersection of North Front Street and East Wyoming Avenue shortly before 9 PM. There were three women crossing the street on Wyoming Avenue when a vehicle struck them. The vehicle was traveling north on Front Street.

A one-year-old girl was killed in the crash despite life-saving measures at St. Christopher’s Hospital. Two additional victims, a 31-year-old woman and a young adult, were transported to Einstein Medical Center in stable condition.

The driver involved in the wreck remained at the crash scene and was cooperating with investigators, who have yet to announce a cause. The identity of the one-year-old victim has also not been released. Police have not said if charges would be filed in the accident.
