NJ Turnpike Closed Due to Multi-Truck Crash

A FedEx delivery truck collided with a tractor-trailer at around 5:15 a.m., shutting down the New Jersey Turnpike in Springfield Township, Burlington County. The accident was so significant that it shut down two of the three lanes from Exit 5 through CR 541.

Truck accidents can be very complex and difficult for victims to navigate. If you are hurt by a commercial truck, whether it is a semi or a delivery truck, it is critical to hire a skilled Burlington County truck accident lawyer to represent you in this legal process.

Truck Vs Truck Accident

Very little information was initially released about the accident in the southbound lanes on the Turnpike. At least one news station captured images from a helicopter reporter that indicated the FedEx tractor-trailer jack-knifed, leading to packages spreading across the highway. The second semi-truck was on the scene, but there were no updates on the cause or if anyone was hurt in the accident. The official fault in this case has not yet been released.
