Man Struck and Killed in Staples Parking lot

According to police, a pedestrian was struck in a Staples parking lot and later died of his injuries. The driver remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the police. The incident took place at the Staples in Upper Providence Township on a Wednesday evening. There was no initial insight into what could have caused the accident in the parking lot. Though the parking lot does have crosswalks throughout it, there was no information about where the person was walking when the accident occurred.

Pedestrian accidents are often fatal or may cause serious and long-term catastrophic injuries for victims. In fatalities, the victim’s family must take steps to pursue legal action against those who caused the accident. This can be a long and drawn-out process, which is why it is often critical for accident victims to hire an experienced pedestrian accident attorney to guide them.

Limited Insight Was Provided on the Person That Caused the Accident

There was no information about who caused the accident. Pedestrian accidents are often the result of distracted drivers, especially in slow-moving parking lots. Other potential causes may include reckless driving, fatigue, or vehicle malfunctions. A full investigation can offer more insight into the underlying cause.

If you are hurt in a car accident, or your family member dies as a pedestrian because they were struck by a vehicle, seek the help and guidance of an experienced attorney to guide you in the recovery of your losses, such as the team at Kwartler Manus
