Man Riding E-Bike Struck and Killed on Broad Street

A vehicle in North Philly struck a person riding an electric bike. The man was using the bike along  Broad Street at West Erie Avenue when the accident took place. The man died from his injuries. The police reported the accident took place at nearly 2 a.m. on a Monday night.

Police believe the electric bike rider was crossing the street from the west to the east side, going against a red light.
