Police Did Not Provide Extensive Details
Police did not say why they thought the crash happened. They noted that they did not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. As such, the family is left to wonder about what happened. Perhaps an animal ran into the roadway, and the driver swerved to avoid it. The driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel since the incident took place at nearly 1 a.m. Medical conditions, distracted driving, and numerous other factors may have contributed.
