According to reports, the accident happened at the intersection of Sumneytown Pike and Clemens Road, close to the Hennings shopping center. Emergency personnel were dispatched around 3:40 PM for the report of a two-vehicle accident.

Police reported heavy front-end damage to both vehicles involved, raising the question of this possibly being a head-on collision. Police have not released many other details of the crash.
