Fatal Crash in Tioga-Nicetown Takes Life of One

Not all accidents have obvious witnesses, and this is often the case in late-night accidents. A recent situation occurred in the Tioga-Nicetown section of Philadelphia. According to the city’s police department, a fatal accident occurred near Hunting Park and Wissahickon Avenue. Police are unsure when the accident occurred, but the vehicle was found at about 1 a.m.

Upon arrival, police found two people in an Oldsmobile Aurora. The vehicle had crashed into a parked truck.

To determine what happened in this accident or any other like it, police will need to gather data from other sources. Cameras in the area may document what happened, and the truck may have sensors that could provide some insight. Witnesses and accident reconstruction could also help reconstruct what happened.

For anyone hurt in such an accident, hiring a skilled Philadelphia car accident attorney is your first step to getting answers.

One Person Died at the Scene

In this particular accident, the driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital and said to be in critical condition. The passenger of the vehicle died at the scene of the incident.
