Details About the Fatal Bristol Crash
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Veterans Highway and Ford Road around 1:30 PM Saturday, February 24. Upon dispatch, police were informed of multiple passengers with injuries.
The vehicles involved were a red Nissan Sentra and a black Ford Explorer. The Sentra was heavily damaged, while the Explorer had severe front-end damage.
Following an initial on-scene investigation of the car accident, it was determined that the Explorer was moving eastbound on Ford Road when the crash happened. The Sentra was turning left onto Veterans Highway from Ford Road when it was struck by the Explorer.
There were four people inside the Sentra, two of which died from their injuries. The remaining two people in the Sentra were transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for undisclosed injuries. It was reported that the driver of the Explorer fled the scene.
