Egg Harbor Township School Bus Accident Details
The woman received a careless driving ticket for crashing into a township school bus that was stopped. She also crashed into three other vehicles.
The crash occurred on the Black Horse Pike in the West Atlantic City section of the township. The school bus was stopped waiting to load students. The three other vehicles involved in the accident were also stopped waiting for the students to board the bus.
According to police, the woman hit a stopped vehicle, which propelled that vehicle into the other cars. The initial vehicle then hit the school bus before finally coming to a stop.
One of the other drivers was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, with minor injuries. Police said that there were no students hurt in the crash.
There was a detour on the Black Horse Pike for more than 90 minutes as police investigated the wreck and the vehicles were removed.
