Ford Explorer Strikes a Dirt Bike
The accident report information indicates that a red Honda dirt bike was traveling southbound on Kensington Avenue with a passenger. At that same time, a Ford Explorer was at the light near Castor Avenue and trying to make a left turn onto the roadway. The dirt bike went around the SUV and, in doing so, struck the Ford Explorer. The two people on the dirt bike were taken to Temple University Hospital with serious injuries. The female driver of the Honda bike was in critical condition.
The driver of the Ford Explorer remained at the scene and did not need to go to the hospital. The Philadelphia police continue to investigate the incident.
