What Happened in the Bensalem Crash?
According to news reports, the Nottingham Fire Department was dispatched for the report of a motor vehicle accident on Friday, May 24th around 7:45 PM. The incident location was on Street Road in Bensalem in the area of the Clubhouse Diner.
On the initial dispatch fire personnel were told that there was a report of a person trapped in one of the three vehicles involved. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that the report was correct and one person had to be extricated from a vehicle.
Fire officials said that five people from the three vehicles involved had to be transported to local hospitals for undisclosed injuries. The accident is under investigation by the Bensalem Township Police Department.
