Two Shot During Eagles Super Bowl Parade

Police reported that two people were shot during the championship celebration in Philadelphia after the Super Bowl game. The shooting took place at 23rd and Spring Garden. Police were alerted to the accident after two women came to a medical tent to request care.

There is no doubt that risks are high at such a large celebration. Security negligence can occur, though, if the property owners and the city fail to take steps to prevent risks and injuries to others. Maintaining a safe environment can be challenging in a situation like this, where thousands of people are present, but it remains the responsibility of those parties.

Security negligence occurs when property owners fail to keep others safe when they should have expected risk. In any situation, victims of such incidents should seek the guidance of a Philadelphia negligent security attorney to help them hold responsible parties accountable.

Non-Serious Injuries in the Shooting

The Philadelphia Eagles celebration was not enjoyable to the woman who was shot. Though police stated she had non-life-threatening injuries, she likely still has medical bills and other losses associated with the unsafe conditions.

While the police focus on the criminal aspects, an attorney can help victims pursue civil action.
