A disastrous accident took place in Galloway Township, New Jersey, recently at the intersection of South Pitney Road and Collins Road. A total of five cars were involved in the accident at about 3:23 p.m. The multi-car accident left one man dead.

In this accident, police believe that a driver was traveling northbound on Pitney Road when they tried to pass a Lincoln Navigator that had stopped at the light and was waiting to turn left onto Collins Road. The initial driver sideswiped the Navigator as they passed, causing the car to veer into oncoming traffic. It collided with a Mercedes GL4 at that time. The Mercedes then struck two additional vehicles, a Nissan Xterra and a Chevrolet Cruz.
