Child Hit by SEPTA Bus on Market Street

A child was hit by a New Jersey Transit bus at the intersection of 6th Street and Market Streets in Old City. The accident occurred at about 9:09 am on a Monday morning. Though limited information is known and police continue to investigate, initial reports indicate that the bus was on the 317 line and had just left from 6th and Race Street to start the run.
