School bus accidents can be terrifying for all parties. In situations where your child is on a bus when an accident occurs, it may be the responsibility of the school district or the at-fault driver to cover the costs associated with those injuries. Hiring a truck accident attorney is critical to protecting your student’s rights in such a situation.
The Bus Was Mostly Empty at the Time of the Accident
A statement released by the school district said only a few students were on the bus at the time of the accident. The district provided school counselor availability for students who may need it the following day. There was no immediate update about the pickup driver’s condition or the cause of the accident.
