Firefighters Rescued the Driver Through the Building
Rescue Engine 9061 and BCFD Station 906 responded to the accident at about 12:40 a.m. They found an SUV almost fully inside the business, which is a brick building. The driver of the SUV was trapped. Local EMS crews worked to free him and transported him to a local trauma center.
This accident also caused additional damage. The driver not only took down a traffic light, but they also hit a natural gas line. These types of accidents could have been deadly for many people involved.
