Fatal eBike Accident in Atlantic City

A car struck an electric bicycle in Atlantic City, NJ, leading to the death of the rider, according to the Atlantic City Police Department. The accident occurred at about 12:59 p.m.. It resulted in serious injuries, fatalities, and property damages.

Electric Bike Rider Killed

The accident took place on the 100th block of North Maryland. When police arrived, they found a 57-year-old male bicyclist was severely injured.  The team worked to provide life-saving treatment, but the bicyclist eventually died at the scene of the incident. The driver of the car that struck the e-bike was a 40-year-old woman from Mount Laurel, NJ. She remained at the scene of the incident and is said to be cooperating with police.
